Farmington Jewelers is owned and operated by Gary Palumbo. Gary was born in New Britain, raised in Plainville and attended St. Paul’s High School in Bristol, CT. He learned the jewelry trade from his father Joe Palumbo who owned and operated J.P. Jewelers and then Joval Jewelers in Plainville, with his wife Valena.

Gary owned and operated Main Street Jewelers, in New Britain, CT for over 18 years. In May of 2000 he closed his shop to spend more time with his wife and two small children, and has now returned to what he loves the most, working with jewelry and his cherished customers.

Farmington Jewelers offers a large and unique selection of platinum, white gold and yellow gold jewelry. All repairs are done by Gary on the premises and can be done within 24 hours upon request. Gary is a full service jeweler with over 25 years of expertise in jewelry repair, remounts, casting and custom design using the lost wax method. He also has a large variety of quality precious and semi-precious rings, pendants and bracelets.
