Welcome to Farmington Jewelers
About Farmington Jewelers
Farmington Jewelers has proudly served the Farmington Valley and Connecticut for decades, built on trust, craftsmanship, and personal service.
For over 40 years, the store was owned and operated by Gary Palumbo, a lifelong Connecticut resident who learned the jewelry trade from his father, Joe Palumbo, owner of J.P. Jewelers and Joval Jewelers. Gary later owned Main Street Jewelers in New Britain before opening Farmington Jewelers. Under his leadership, the store became known for fine gold and platinum jewelry, custom design, expert repairs, and lasting customer relationships. Gary retired at the end of 2025 after 42 years in the jewelry industry.
A New Chapter
Farmington Jewelers is now owned and operated by Magda Pivo, fine jewelry designer and founder of Magdalene Pivoine, based in Farmington. With deep respect for the store’s history, Magda is committed to preserving its warmth and integrity while bringing a refined, modern design perspective.
“I am honored to carry forward Gary’s legacy of trust, craftsmanship, and community,” Magda shares.
The store continues under the Farmington Jewelers name and now features select Magdalene Pivoine collections alongside trusted jewelry brands, with a focus on ethical sourcing, recycled precious metals, and bespoke design—from sketch to finished piece.
Our Commitment
Farmington Jewelers remains dedicated to exceptional craftsmanship, honest personal service, thoughtfully sourced fine jewelry, and a welcoming, community-centered experience.
We look forward to serving both longtime customers and new clients, continuing the legacy that has defined Farmington Jewelers for generations—while shaping an inspired future.
